I am the CEO and Proprietor of City Planners, a Chennai-based traffic and transport planning consultancy established in 2005. With close to 25 years of experience, my career spans running a successful India practice and delivering high-value international assignments in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
My work covers the full spectrum of traffic and transportation services — from Traffic Impact Assessments and Construction Traffic Management Plans for major metro rail projects, to strategic transport demand modelling and road asset management advisory for billion-dollar highway concessions.
Beyond planning, City Planners also provides road construction advisory and supervision services under IRC and MORTH standards, and comprehensive surveying for land demarcation, topographic mapping, road inventory, building surveys, and pavement condition assessments using Total Station, GPS, and Benkelman Beam equipment.

Field traffic and detour engineering for a 56 km ring road with 4 lanes per direction, 10 intersections, and 32 bridges. Capacity: 4.44 million vehicles/day.
Chennai Metro Phase 2 – 13 Underground Stations
Preparation, submission, and approval of CTMPs and Traffic Diversion Plans for 13 stations across Corridors 3 & 4. Presentations to Metro Rail Authority and Police Commissioners.
Traffic Improvement & Transport Modelling – Jubail City
Traffic improvement planning, road design, and future transport modelling for a major industrial city municipality using SYNCHRO, VISUM, and VISSIM. Led a team of 12 specialists.
